  • Ethereum has proposed staking-reward burn is out of Hegotá, removing a potential brake on ETH issuance while leaving the network’s existing monetary rules intact. Ethereum itself trades at $2,730, surging by less than 1% over 24 hours, but the upgrade decision wobbles its price prediction.

EIP-8363 would have burned a growing share of validator rewards as the staking ratio rose, reaching a 100% burn at roughly 60.25 million ETH. Its authors withdrew it on October 1 after more than 200 forum comments and criticism over both the proposal’s timing and its impact on smaller validators.

The change would have phased in over 18 months; its removal means no such reduction is included in Hegotá for now. This leaves ETH trading on a mix of technical levels and macro catalysts rather than an imminent change to staking rewards.

The September U.S. jobs report, Fed expectations, Treasury yields, and ETF flows may do more to shape near-term direction. The market question is whether ETH can turn its recovery into a sustained move above resistance.

At $2,730, ETH sits between the $2,500 support area and a resistance band at $2,800–$2,900. The 24-hour gain is less than 1, but the current movement does not establish a breakout with reliable volume. Price action still looks like consolidation after a sharp recovery.

A sustained push above $2,800, followed by a hold within the $2,800–$2,900 zone, would strengthen the recovery and put higher levels in play. The base case is continued consolidation below resistance while traders assess labor data, rate expectations, and ETF demand.

However, a loss of $2,500 would weaken the setup and shift focus back to downside risk. The market’s macro and rate backdrop matters because softer yields can support risk appetite, while renewed yield pressure can weigh on crypto valuations.

LiquidChain Targets Cross-Chain Utility as Ethereum Tests Resistance

ETH’s recovery gives bulls a reason to stay engaged, but the upside remains conditional: resistance is close, and the withdrawn burn proposal removes a prospective source of supply reduction. That may disappoint traders looking for a near-term monetary-policy catalyst.

If ETH stalls, attention can shift toward earlier-stage infrastructure, though this comes with substantially different execution and liquidity risks.

LiquidChain ($LIQUID) is a Layer 3 project built to fuse Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana liquidity into one execution environment. Its stated proposition is simple: developers deploy once and access all three ecosystems through a unified liquidity layer, with single-step execution and verifiable settlement among its features.

The listed token price is at $0.014961, and with $980K already been raised. Staking APY is at a huge 1200% only for presale buyers. The pitch is infrastructure, adoption, delivery, and market liquidity.

Research LiquidChain and review before the presale closes.
